WHAT DOES SEO ENTAIL?
So, you have decided to set up your business website and came across the word SEO.
What is SEO?
So basically, what this means is making your web site highly visible in search results in Google or any other search engine. If you have a website and you want it to get more traffic then this needs to be part of your overall marketing strategy.
These rankings are determined by Googles Algorithm, something we will never know!
What we do know is that there are two factors: On Page & Off page SEO.
- The speed of your site
- The structure of your website
- The quality of the copy on your site
- Links from other websites
- Social media and marketing outside of your website
The most crucial of all these is the number and the overall quality of links that direct back to your website. In a nutshell, the more relevant the websites that link back to your website the higher your website position in Google will be.
So ultimately the goal is to build and maintain the best website ever!
Remember Googles aim is also to make money as well as to get the best quality of information to its users so if your site is really good then google will rank it high.
So having a great site, your UX (user experience) needs to be of a high standard.
